HOPE & GLORY
H&G is an internationally operating and established feature film company with offices in London, Berlin and soon also Paris. The owners, Raphael Socha & Anya Padel have over the past 15 years established solid business relationships around the globe and are part of a network of solid international producers and film financiers. H&G have also developed a substantial slate of new projects with 3 feature films scheduled for production over the coming two years.
Anya & Raphael have joined forces with Malcolm Reeve, ex COO and Vice President at Sir Ridley and Tony Scott’s production company, Scott Free Inc, to setting up ta new H&G Los Angeles and Paris production outfit. Charles Salmon, internationally acclaimed Line Producer & Producer, is also part of the new production team. H&G is also in discussions to form an International Film Financing Fund.
The H&G owners have further set up business partnerships with established and awards winning international producers. Susie Landau Finch (Coppola’s Dracula) in LA and Vinod Kumar of NIRVANA Entertainment in Mumbai, India, are two of such networking partners, as well as the former NY & LA RBS film financing manager, Scott Webster.
Anya & Raphael ran for more than 10 years successfully Hope & Glory Commercials (formerly zak film), where Raphael wrote & directed many commercials, pop promos and corporate films. They won several prestigious international awards, including the UN Gold Medal and special award for outstanding achievements in the Humanity and Arts, by Kofi Anan, for their courageous film campaign against the international rise of neo right wing fascist violence.
